In recent years, Qi Zhuo’s practice has revolved around processes of translation. Whether between historical objects and contemporary materials, or across different cultural experiences and temporal dimensions. Rather than preserving an original meaning, his work explores how meaning is continually transformed through displacement, reinterpretation, and cultural translation.
